Opportunities in Sociology
Master's level sociology graduates who choose not to enter the academic world discover a wide range of career opportunities. Government agencies, planning and social service agencies, hospitals, the justice system, private enterprises and research centers look to sociologists with advanced degrees to conduct their major research projects and policy initiatives. Many work as professional consultants or as clinical sociologists working in multidisciplinary teams in a variety of settings.
